By arranging the stones - two larger ones in the middle and a smaller one on the top and the bottom - we created the general outline of a marquise diamond. Our tastes evolve over time, and that extends to the jewellery we wear. Many of our clients find themselves wanting to redesign cherished pieces, like wedding sets, to better reflect their current style. This was the case for a client who recently came to us with a desire to transform her wedding set.

She loved the sentimentality behind the rings, but the yellow gold no longer resonated with her. White gold was her new preference, and she envisioned a design that felt more modern. Interestingly, she also harboured a few small changes for the original design that she hadn't quite addressed. The main diamond, for example, sat at an angle, and she wished it were perfectly straight. Additionally, the straight bands felt a little outdated, and she craved a touch of curvature for a more contemporary look.

Understanding her desires, we embarked on a collaborative design journey. We sketched out several options, each incorporating the white gold she yearned for, a perfectly aligned diamond, and bands with a subtle, elegant curve.
