Her hope? That we could weave a little handmade magic and transform her forgotten gold into something timeless.
Together, we reimagined those unworn pieces and melted them down to create a solid gold bangle - a single, cohesive piece that honoured the past while giving it a brand-new life. No longer hidden in a jewellery box, her gold now lives on as a beautiful, wearable reminder that old doesn’t have to mean outdated.

Here are a few common warning signs that your stone setting might need some TLC:
1. Catchy Claws
If your ring keeps catching on clothing, hair, or fabric, that’s often a sign that a claw has lifted or shifted out of place. Not only is it annoying - it can also mean your stone isn’t being held as securely as it should be.
2. Sharp Edges
Run your finger gently over the surface of your stone. Does it feel sharp or uneven? This can indicate wear in the setting or damage that’s affecting how the stone sits.

Every now and then, a client walks through our doors with a story so heartfelt that it becomes part of the jewellery itself. This particular client had a vision - not just an idea, but a complete design she had dreamed up, sketched, and carried close to her heart. On a tiny notepad, she had drawn the ring set she envisioned: three rings, each with its own meaning, each to be created using her own sentimental treasures.
From the moment she shared her drawings with us, we knew this project was going to be something special. She had already fallen in love with the design - all she needed was someone to bring it to life. And when the day came for her to collect her pieces, the moment was pure magic. She opened the box, gasped softly, and whispered, “Oh my goodness… I love it. They are exactly what I pictured.” Those are the moments we live for.
But this story had a little plot twist.
She also had an existing ring - one that matched the style of her new design. She wondered aloud: “I wonder if the two outside rings could fit alongside both the old ring and the new one…” A challenge, absolutely. But a challenge we were excited to accept.
And we made it happen.
Not only did we create her new solitaire centre ring and the two outside bands, but we crafted them in a way that allowed both her old and new treasures to sit together in perfect harmony.
Jewellery isn't just metal and stones - it's memory, identity, and story. And creating this client's dream ring set was an honour we won’t soon forget.

Last Friday night was one of those magical moments that truly remind us what community is all about. We were invited to take part in the 12 Days of Christmas celebration alongside some incredible small business owners from across the Redlands. The atmosphere was buzzing with festive energy - laughter, local pride, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
As part of the celebration, some businesses were asked to donate a prize to bless 12 lucky winners. With 12 prizes in total (one for each “day”), we wanted ours to feel extra special and full of local love. So we teamed up with not one, but two incredible Redlands businesses to create a gift that truly represented the heart of our community.
From Butter Meets Sugar (sorry, Facebook won't let me tag you!), we included the sweetest little gingerbread Christmas tree - almost too cute to eat (almost!).
From Redlands Coast Distillery we added one of their popular tester packs - a perfect way to wind down and toast to the season. And of course, we couldn't resist adding a little something from The Jewellers Vault - a voucher for a clean and polish, to help someone's treasured pieces sparkle just a bit brighter for the holidays.
Even though it's still a touch early, the spirit of the season is definitely here - and we want to take a moment to wish all of our customers, supporters, and followers a very Merry Christmas.
