Last Friday night was one of those magical moments that truly remind us what community is all about. We were invited to take part in the 12 Days of Christmas celebration alongside some incredible small business owners from across the Redlands. The atmosphere was buzzing with festive energy - laughter, local pride, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
As part of the celebration, some businesses were asked to donate a prize to bless 12 lucky winners. With 12 prizes in total (one for each “day”), we wanted ours to feel extra special and full of local love. So we teamed up with not one, but two incredible Redlands businesses to create a gift that truly represented the heart of our community.
From Butter Meets Sugar (sorry, Facebook won't let me tag you!), we included the sweetest little gingerbread Christmas tree - almost too cute to eat (almost!).
From Redlands Coast Distillery we added one of their popular tester packs - a perfect way to wind down and toast to the season. And of course, we couldn't resist adding a little something from The Jewellers Vault - a voucher for a clean and polish, to help someone's treasured pieces sparkle just a bit brighter for the holidays.
Even though it's still a touch early, the spirit of the season is definitely here - and we want to take a moment to wish all of our customers, supporters, and followers a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for continuing to choose local, support local, and celebrate the magic of small businesses. Here's to a beautiful festive season ahead! ✨🎄

Some requests stay with us - not because they're difficult, but because they're meaningful! And maybe just a little challenging…
One of our long-time clients, a truly gorgeous woman inside and out, set me a task that instantly sparked excitement. She always brings the most thoughtful, perfectly considered ideas… the kind that make me work just a little bit harder to bring her vision to life. And honestly? I love that! This time, the mission was to find something rare: a pair of vivid purple, perfectly matched, round sapphires.Simple to describe. Nearly impossible to find.
She had a simple but breathtaking design in mind - three stones, side by side, claw set in a band, all complementing each other, and the sapphires were the only missing piece to her puzzle.
Months passed - and I genuinely lost count of how many. I sifted through stone after stone, checked with suppliers across the country, and quietly refused to give up. Then one day… there they were. A supplier sent me a photo that made me stop breathing for a moment. Two vivid purple sapphires, identical in colour, shape, and magic.I sent the photo straight to my client - and her reaction said everything.Fast-forward to today, and her breathtaking new ring is complete. Two striking purple sapphires now sit proudly beside her dazzling centre diamond, all lovingly held in bright yellow gold. A sentimental blend of her cherished old pieces and the newly sourced stones she waited so patiently for.A story of persistence.A design full of meaning. And a piece as radiant as the woman who wears it. 💜💛✨

The Case of the Muddy Rings
Every now and then, a client walks through the door with a collection of jewellery that has clearly lived a very full life - and a few weeks ago, we had exactly that!
This client brought in a few of his beloved rings… but let's be honest… they looked like they'd been dug straight out of the garden. Dirt, grime, mystery debris - the kind of buildup that makes you wonder what adventures those rings have been on!
As he handed them over, he laughed and said:
“Just do the best you can - I know the black might not come off, but I'd like you to try.”
Challenge accepted. 💪
With a keen eye, a steady hand, and some of our specialised tools and cleaning methods, we got to work. Bit by bit, layer by layer, the dirt disappeared… and underneath? Beautiful metal that shone the way it did when he first bought them.
And in the end?
Let's just say the transformation was chef's kiss ✨
Those rings left the workshop looking fresh, clean, bright, and absolutely ready to be loved again.
Sometimes all a piece needs is a little TLC to feel brand new.

Christmas Arrived… On Schedule!
For weeks now, I've been swatting away the creeping tinsel, early carols, and those “SALE!! Buy now for Christmas!!” signs like they personally offended me 😅.
But finally, it-s December 1 — the one day a jeweller can proudly shout “NOW it's socially acceptable to sparkle AND sprinkle!”
Our little showroom went from sleek, shiny precious metal paradise to full-blown Christmas explosion overnight. And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way ✨🌿🎄
I stand firmly behind my rule:
No Christmas decorations before December 1, and none lingering after December 31.
Short, sweet, sparkly, and contained - much like our jewellery (but with slightly more pine scent and fairy lights).
So tell me…
Are you a “decorate early and never take them down” type?
Or do you live by the same strict festive code as us? 👇
Let's settle the important questions this holiday season! 😄🎄💬

✨ What an exciting November it's turned into! ✨
A few weeks ago I got a very mysterious email letting me know I was a finalist for the Stan Green Award for Sales and Customer Service through the Capalaba Rotary Club…
And honestly? I had no idea what it was or how I was even entered! 😅
What I did know was how honoured I felt - someone out there valued an interaction with me enough to put my name forward for something so special. That alone meant a lot!
Fast forward to Monday night… award presentation night… storms hit… damage control had to be done ⛈️… and I couldn’t attend.
Then I found out — I won! 🏆
And yesterday the lovely Collin from Rotary popped into Jewellers Vault to hand-deliver this beauty 💍✨
Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, trusted, and cheered me on over the years. I appreciate you more than you know. 💚
And to whoever nominated me for this award — I'd hug you if I knew who you were! 😌
Huge congratulations to all nominees, finalists, and winners from Monday night - being in a room (even in spirit) with so many community-minded legends is the real win. 👏👏
Here's to genuine connections, paying it forward, and finding joy even after a storm! 🌈✨
