If diamonds are a girl’s best friend… what are pink diamonds?
Apart from incredibly expensive?
Absolutely gorgeous — that’s what!
This beautiful remodelling journey began with a client who walked through our doors with something very special: a collection of diamonds and a perfectly thought-out vision. She had done the hard work herself, arriving with detailed drawings of exactly what she wanted. Our role? To bring those sketches to life.
From her original diamond ring set, we created something deeply meaningful - a pair of matching rings. One for her, and one for her daughter. Two pieces, forever connected, no matter where in the world life may take them. Jewellery that doesn’t just sparkle, but symbolises love, legacy, and family.
But we didn’t stop there!
She also wanted a pair of earrings versatile enough for everyday wear - something that felt just as at home with a little black dress as it would with jeans and a t-shirt at the shops. Elegant, effortless, and timeless.
And because diamond trends never stand still… let’s talk bracelets. Right now, diamond bracelets are having a serious moment in the jewellery world. Sleek, wearable, and endlessly classic. If you already have the diamonds sitting unworn in your jewellery box, we can transform them into something you’ll reach for every single day.
From pink diamonds to matching heirloom rings and modern everyday sparkle - this is what remodelling is all about. Keeping the sentiment. Elevating the design. Creating something that will be treasured for generations.

March Birthstone: Aquamarine 🌊
March babies are lucky enough to call aquamarine their birthstone - a gemstone as calm and captivating as the ocean itself.
With its soft blue to blue-green tones, aquamarine has long been associated with serenity, clarity, and protection. Historically, sailors believed it was a treasure from the sea, offering safe passage and calm waters. Today, it still carries that peaceful, soothing energy - making it a meaningful choice for anyone born in March.
One of the reasons we love aquamarine so much is its versatility. Its fresh, airy colour pairs beautifully with white gold, yellow gold, or platinum. It can be bold and statement-making in larger cuts, or delicate and refined in minimalist designs.
Whether set in a timeless ring, elegant earrings, or a custom pendant, aquamarine offers a subtle pop of colour while remaining effortlessly wearable.
If you’re celebrating a March birthday - or simply love ocean-inspired hues - aquamarine is a gemstone that never goes out of style.

At Jewellers Vault, we always say "the stones are only as powerful as the design that holds them."
This client came to us with a ring that, technically, ticked all the boxes. Beautiful stones? Absolutely. Sparkle potential? Through the roof. But the design? Heavy. Enclosed. Blocky. The kind of setting that keeps diamonds under lock and key instead of letting them party in the light. And here’s the thing - she loved her stones. LOVED them. (Honestly… same.) But every time she looked at her ring, she felt like it wasn’t doing them justice. Instead of elevating the diamonds, the design was overpowering them. That’s where the magic happens. We reimagined the entire piece. Out went the boxy structure. In came sweeping shoulders that guide your eye gracefully toward the centre. We opened the setting to invite light in from every angle. And of course - claw-set diamonds. Because nothing says “let me sparkle” quite like delicate claws holding stones high and proud. The transformation? Night and day.Suddenly the diamonds didn’t feel trapped - they felt alive. Brighter. Bigger. More brilliant. The exact same stones… but a completely different presence. It’s proof of something we see time and time again: design isn’t just a frame. It’s the difference between a ring you own… and a ring you adore. And this one? She adores it. ✨

What do you do with sentimental jewellery that you no longer wear?
It’s one of the most common questions we’re asked - and the answer is almost always the same: you don’t have to let it sit in a drawer, and you don’t have to sell it.
This client came to us with a yellow gold band that meant something… but didn’t feel like them anymore. They don’t wear yellow gold. They didn’t want a remodel. They didn’t want stones added or shapes changed.
They wanted something bold.
“I don’t even want to be able to tell it’s the same ring.”
Challenge accepted.
Instead of redesigning the piece entirely, we focused on transformation. We cleaned and polished the band, then coated it in rhodium plating to shift it from warm yellow to crisp white. To finish, we gave it a softened satin texture - subtle, modern, and beautifully understated.
The result? A completely refreshed ring that feels brand new, while still carrying all of its original meaning.
Sometimes repurposing doesn’t mean melting something down. Sometimes it just means seeing it differently.
Would you have guessed it’s the same ring?
