Sisters, Not Twins - A Subtle Ring Transformation Story
Some time ago, we created a ring for one of our lovely clients - a simple, elegant piece that quickly became one of her absolute favourites. She loved it so much that she came back with an idea: she wanted a second one. Similar, but not identical. Matching, but not too matchy-matchy.
The original ring featured stones that were almost all the same size - a beautifully balanced design that many of our followers might recognise! For her new piece, she wanted to play with proportion and contrast, creating a little sibling to her first ring.
This time, she decided to invert the design - where the first had slightly larger white stones, the new one showcases larger blue ones, with smaller white accents to complement them.
The result? Two rings that clearly belong together, yet each has its own personality - a perfect example of how small changes can completely shift a design's character.
It's a simple yet thoughtful way to reimagine old gold and stones into something wearable, personal, and full of meaning. Every day, she can now wear a pair of pieces that tell her story - connected, but unique.
